PURPOSE:To attempt to make an extrusion operation smooth by replacing the atmosphere in an extruder with an inert gas while at least the first extruder is preheated before extrusion of an resin and extruding the resin. CONSTITUTION:A hopper 2 is attached to the first extruder 1 and a resin is fed therefrom. A crosshead 5 is connected with the second extruder 7 through a connecting part 6 and pipes p for filling an inert gas are provided in the hopper 2 and a filter part 3 of the first extruder 1 and an exhaust vent q is set e.g. in a prtten route to the crosshead 5 and by drawing a vacuum, the inside of the first extruder is easily replaced with an inert gas. Before extrusion, by replacing air in the apparatus with an inert gas while at least the first extruder 1 is preheated, the resin is extruded without exposing the resin with oxygen at high temp. A resin incorporated with a crosslinking agent with good quality can be extruded. |
