A carry bag of thermoplastic sheet material is disclosed which has a carrying handle of thermoplastic material, the walls of the bag being joined to each other at both side edges by means of a weld. The bag has bottom folds opposite the opening of the bag and a single carrying handle loop is arranged in the area of the base folds. One end of this carrying handle loop is attached externally to one of the side walls, the other end attached externally to the other side wall, each by means of a welded seam that is closed to form a ring, so that the bottom folds are free to unfold. The opening is provided with a flap closure. |
