PURPOSE:To obtain the subject fiber having excellent heat-resistance, chemical resistance and flame-retardancy and useful for bag filter, net, nonwoven fabric, etc., by melt-spinning a block copolymer composed of a polyphenylene sulfide block and an aromatic sulfide-sulfone block at a specific ratio. CONSTITUTION:The objective fiber is produced by melt-spinning a composition composed of (A) a block copolymer of 30-90wt.% of a polyphenylene sulfide block of formula I and 10-70wt.% of an aromatic sulfide-sulfone block and preferably (B) a polyphenylene sulfide. |
