<p>PURPOSE:To perform a maintenance job at the side of a stopped system main body without affecting the circuit elements while keeping the operation of the other system main body when either one of both system main bodies is stopped in a duplexing system by stopping and controlling the supply of power a communication means of the system main body serving as the opposite party of communication when the stop of the supply of power is detected. CONSTITUTION:The power is supplied to the communication means (16-1) - (16-2) via the power supply means 18-1 and 18-2 of the system main bodies 12-1 and 12-2 of the opposite party. When the stop of the main body 12-1 or 12-2 is detected, the supply of power is also stopped to the means 16-1 or 16-2 together with the main body 12-1 or 12-2 of the opposite party. Thus it is pos sible to perform a maintenance job at the side of the stopped system main body without breaking the elements of a communication circuit set between both system main bodies and with the operation of the other system main body kept as it is.</p> |
