<p>The present device detects the sow's movement and sends a blast of cold air onto the floor of the sow's pen. The piglets move back into an area which is electrically warmed until the sow lies down again and the air flow stops. An infra red sensor on the rail supports of the sow's pen operates delay and causes a fan at the top of a pillar to operate, drawing in air (aanzuigen). The air passes down the pillar and is blown out (uitblazen) across the floor. Power to the fan, sensor and relay is fed from a conventional mains supply plug (stekker) and manual on/off switch (stopcontact).</p> |
