CERAMIC FILTER FOR HOT EXHAUST GAS

The ceramic filter for treating hot exhaust gases is prepared by doping the surface (2) of a porous body (1) with a porous mixture (3). The porous mixture is composed of alumina with a diameter of 3-15 micron, alumina-silica, fire-proofing fiber, and refractory particles with an average diameter of 44-74 micron. The produced filter is used to remove dusts from high-temperature exhaust gases. It has a good collection efficiency for dust and a low passage resistance.
