It is implemented by applying leakage sensing IC instead of triac as in the previous system. The circuit is composed of three parts, i.e. overcurrent detecting circuit, inverter and displaying circuit. If the overcurrent is applied to IC via current setting resistor (VR1), the transistor (TR) turns on to turn SCR off. Then it stops energizing solenoid coil or holding coil to shut the power off and then control the load voltage. The inverter is for resetting or testing using 'NOR' gate. LED is also for displaying current sensing and operating condition.
