CONSTITUTION: A blade holder 102 moves downward together with an upper die shoe, and a cam follower 106 mounted at the end thereof falls along a cam 108 from a top position A, together with the first portion B and second portion C of a path of travel. During the first portion of this movement, the end 112 of a cutting blade 100 forming an acute angle is gripped by die jaw parts 18, 20, The blade moves along the first chord 120 of product tubing 12 fed out of, e.g. a milling machine, to pierce the tubing 12. Next, the tubing 12 is moved along a second chord 122 forming an acute angle to the first chord 120 and is cut by the first cutting edge 114 and second and third cutting edges 116, 118 of the cutting blade 100.
