PURPOSE:To remarkably reduce the man-hours for decorating process by a method wherein a mold, in which a decorating cavity having a decoration forming surface thereon is produced, is prepared and PVC paste is poured in the decorating cavity, and, gelled by heating under the condition being pressed by the decorative surface of a rubber molded item, which is set in the mold. CONSTITUTION:A mold 8, in which a decorating cavity 6 having a decoration forming surface 6a formed along the decorative surface D of a rubber molded item 11 is produced, is prepared. PVC paste P is poured in the decorating cavity 6. The rubber molded item 11 is set in the mold. At this time, the PVC paste is brought into the state being pressed by the decorative surface D of the rubber molded item 11, resulting in moving the PVC paste to both sides so as to realize a PVC paste layer 130, which is under the state adhering to the whole decorative surface by uniform thickness. By heating the mold under the above- mentioned state, the PVC paste layer 13a is gelled by heating. At this time, embossing is performed by emboss formed in the decoration forming surface 6a of the decorating cavity 6 of the mold 8, resulting in producing the required emboss on the surface of the decorated PVC layer 13. |
