The chain saw spacing links run in a guide-rail with oil ducts, and have an oil duct in the form of a side groove running upwards at an angle towards the rivet joints for lubrication.The oil duct (1) is prolonged into an oil channel (3), which has one end (32,33) at least located in the vicinity (26,27) of a rivet hole (2,9). One end may be close to one hole, and the other close to the next. The channel lies parallel to a plane determined by the rivet holes' axes (20,21) and below this. It may enclose the hole in a semicircular shape, or in a full circle
