Signalling converter for telecommunications - connects digital exchange station with analog exchange centre

The signalling converter connects at least one digital exchange station (EVST) with an analogue exchange centre (KVST). The converter consists of a telecommunications installation (TK) which includes an interface for digital connections (SOFV) and an interface for analogue cross-connections (E&M-QVS). These are connected over a fixed line with the digital edxchange and over a cross line with the analogue centre. The telecommunications installation switches through a connection on the basis of direct calls, using a telephone network for instance.
