<p>PURPOSE:To prevent draw back at the time when a motor chair is started on an up-hill road, by increasing power supply to a drive motor and producing a large torque if the motor chair starts to draw back due to insufficient torque. CONSTITUTION:When an electromagnetic brake 6 is unlocked according to the operation of an accelerator 8, a control circuit 15 increases the duty of PWM control. At that time, rotary direction and speed of a motor 5 are calcu lated based on a signal fed from a tachogenerator thus judging in which direc tion the accelerator 8 is operating and whether the motor 5 is rotating reversely, i.e., whether a motor chair is drawing back on an up-hill read. If the motor 5 is rotating reversely, the control circuit 5 15 increases the increment of PWM duty thus bringing the motor 5 quickly to the motion in the advancing direction.</p> |
