PURPOSE:To stabilize an azeotropic composition consisting of 1,3- dichloro-1,2,2,3,3-pentafluoropropane and ethanol and to show excellently suppressing effects on metal corrosion by adding a nitro compound as a stabilizer. CONSTITUTION:An azeotropic composition consisting of 1,3-dichloro-1,2,2,3,3- pentafluoropropane useful for flux cleaner as a solvent and ethanol is blended with at least one selected from nitro compounds, phenols, amines, ethers, amylenes, esters, organic phosphites, epoxides, furans, alcohols, ketones and triazoles as a stabilizer to stabilize the composition. The amount of the stabilizer added is 1ppm-10% based on the composition by weight. The stabilized composition will not cause troubles of contact fault even if corrosion is occurred when an azeotropic composition is used for cleaning electronic parts, electric parts, etc. |
