<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the overall size of the subject changer in depth by providing a preprocess cassette housing part on the upper side of a switching plate and a processed cassette housing part on its lower side and inserting and ejecting a cassette by turning the switching plate between a cassette inserting position and ejecting position. CONSTITUTION:The subject changer is provided with the preprocess cassette housing part S1, the processed cassette housing part S2, the switching plate 9, a spring means 39 for giving the switching plate 9 its spring force toward the cassette ejecting position, switching plate locking means 37 and 38, a cassette taking-out means 14, a cassette inserting means 13 and a driving means for these means. Then, an exchanging operation for cassettes C1 and C2 is performed in such order as releasing the lock of the switching plate 9 lowering the switching plate 9 (lowering the preprocess cassette C) inserting the cassette C1 rising the switching plate 9 . locking (next preprocess cassette C2 on standby) ejecting the postprocess cassette C1. By this method, the overall size of the changer in depth can be reduced.</p> |
