The mounting unit comprises anexpanding anchor bolt engaging in an undercut hole, and with which a tool inm the chuck of a hammer drill engages. The bolt shank contains a tapped bore engaged by a bolt with expander body passing through an expansion bush. The tool (1) has a ring of teeth (12) at its end towards the shank (5) of the anchor bolt (2), engaging with a shoulder (26) in the shank (5) protruding above the screwthread (6). USE/ADVANTAGE - Expansion is effected merely by turning the anchor bolt.
