Lubricating oil change appts. partic. for textile machine spindles has a hand-held extension to a mobile assembly including used oil suction system (21,24,25,27) a flushing oil delivery (22,28,29,30) and elements of the feed for the new lubricant (23,2829,30) in a combined assembly (10). It has a suction tube (24) with a suction opening (27) and oil delivery channel(s) (28) with an outlet opening (30) at a defined gap from the suction opening (27). The hand unit (10) also has a limit switch (39) connected electrically (44,45) to a time switch, with magnetic fresh lubricant in sequence on a time scale. ADVANTAGE - Oil change can be performed by one person, giving the required servicing at the spindle station.
