Roll press with roll gap - has underlying wedge plate powered by vibrator to crush lumps issuing from gap

The roll press has counter-rotating rolls facing each other across a gap. Below the roll gap and spaced from this in parallel these should be a stop (15) to de-agglomerate the lumps (14) pressed out of the feed in the roll gap. The stop pref. consists of a plate (15) extending over the roll gap length and furnished where it faces with gap with wedge surfaces (16). The plate is arranged centrally to or clear of the gap, below this and connected to a vibrator. USE/ADVANTAGE - Crushing, e.g. cement processing. Expressed lumps reliably distintegrated on-line.
