Through the centre of the rotor (2) of a pump passes a driving spindle (1) with a driver (3) at its end and at right angles to it. The driver has an extension (5) at each end, extending downwards at right angles. The flat top (4) of the driver and its two extensions are housed in a recess (6, 7) in the rotor. Between the flat top and the vertical outside surface of each extension is a rounded corner (9). A dividing line (10) through the deepest part (7) of the recess passes through the vertical outside surface half way along it. USE/ADVANTAGE - Min. tilting force is applied to the rotor.
