发明名称 PROBE FOR MEASURING ACTIVITY OF SOLUTE ELEMENT IN MOLTEN IRON
摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent the peeling and expending of the coating of the probe and to obtain high measurement accuracy by coating the surface of a solid electrolyte with a material having the specified activity of the oxide of the solute material in a molten iron and enclosing the outside thereof with porous refractories through which the molten iron can pass. CONSTITUTION:This activity measuring instrument is constituted of a measuring electrode 1, a detecting element 2, a potentiometer 3, the solid electrolyte 4, a reference material 5, an electrode 6, the coating 7, the porous refractories 8, a clearance 9, the molten iron alpha, a housing 10, a connector 11, a protective pipe 12, an upper cap 13, and a thermocouple 14. The detecting element 2 is constituted of the blinded cylindrical solid electrolyte 4, the reference material 5 put therein, the Mo electrode 6, the coating 7 of the material for maintaining the specified activity of the oxide of the solute in the molten iron applied on the surface of the solid electrolyte 4, and the porous refractories 8 enclosing the same. The molten iron alpha passes the refractories 8 and infilters the spacing with the film 7 when the detecting element is immersed into the molten iron alpha. The temp. of this time is measured by the thermocouple 14 and electromotive force is measured by the potentiometer 3, by which the activity of the solute element is determined.
