PURPOSE:To simplify the forming operation of a label, and prevent wrinkle and loosening due to dimensional error from developing and the improper shape of a container from being formed by a method wherein a label is preformed by being thermally shrunk along a preforming mold, which conforms to the inner peripheral surface part of a forming mold, before its insertion in the forming mold. CONSTITUTION:A label 18 is enough to be formed into a simple cylinder having a proper dimension larger in diameter than that of the inner surface of a forming mold 4. Next, after being externally fitted to a preforming mold 7, which is transferred by the conveyer 8 of a preforming device 6, the label is transferred to the position of a heating device 7 so as to be heated in order to be preformed through shrinkage developed by heating into a shape along the tapered form of an outer peripheral surface part 7a. Further, when the height of the label 18 is set to be higher than the preforming mold 7, a bent part 18a, which is produced by bending the upper part of the label inwards along a tip surface part 7b, can be formed. The label 18, the preforming of which is finished, is inserted by filling in the forming mold 4 and transferred to a container forming device 1 side so as to form a container. The label 18 is surely and strongly bonded through the heat-sensitive adhesive layer 21, which forms the inner surface side of the label, to resin sheet 2. |
