PURPOSE: To easily make the uniform thickness of an applied active material and improve the production efficiency of electrode plates by supplying the active material directly to an electrode plate frame or indirectly to the frame through a conveyer belt based on the centrifugal force caused by high speed rotation of a wheel. CONSTITUTION: An active material 1 is supplied to a rotating wheel 11 and based on the centrifugal force by high speed rotation of the wheel 11, the active material 1 is directly supplied to an electrode plate frame 5 or indirectly to the frame 5 through a conveyer belt 20. The thickness of the layer of the active material 1 supplied to the electrode plate frame 5 or on the belt conveyer 20 from supply wheels 11, 11a can be optionally adjusted by adjusting the relative distance between the conveyer belt 20 and a supplying means 10 or adjusting the rotation speed of the supply wheels. Consequently, uniform coating of the active material to the electrode plate can be carried out at high production efficiency. |
