摘要 PURPOSE:To detect with precision a processing condition, by providing a non-contact form displacement detector that detects the radius direction displacement of a tool main shaft or a machining main shaft that is at the adjoining territory of a tip side bearing, and filters of various frequency territories into which the detection signals of this detector are inputted, and comparators that compare the output signals of these filters with respective set values. CONSTITUTION:The radius direction displacement of a machining shaft at a tip side bearing adjoining territory that has responded to each of the conditions, that is, the condition of a machine tool operation having been commenced, the condition of a processing tool having come into contact with a work in accordance with each of various unprocessed surfaces, the condition of processing, the condition of the work processing surfaces at processing, and the like, is detected by means of a non-contact form displacement detector 20. That detection signal is inputted into various frequency territory filters 33-35, and as a result, a processing condition or a work processing surface condition is discriminated, and the degree of respective conditions is discriminated by the results of comparison between output signals from various frequency territory filters 33-35 and set reference values at comparators 36b, 36c, 36d. These resultant discrimination signals are inputted into a controller and a machine tool is controlled in drive.
