摘要

PURPOSE:To improve corrosion resistance and to lessen the dependency of a recording power on a line speed by providing a metallic layer consisting of an aluminum alloy contg. specific ratios of titanium and hafnium. CONSTITUTION:A recording layer 3 and the metallic layer 4 are provided on a substrate 2. The metallic layer 4 is constituted of the aluminum alloy which contains 0.1 to 5 atomic% tilanium and 0.1 to 9.5atomic% hafnium based on the total atomic number constituting the aluminum alloy and is of <= 10atomic% in the total content of the titanium and the hafnium. The corrosion resistance is improved in this way and the dependency of the recording power on the line speed is lessened. In addition, the protective effect of the recording layer 3 is improved.
