<p>PURPOSE:To stably travel a tape having a thin thickness without damage by shaping the subject guide post convexly in a center position in the tape transverse direction without having a flange for regulating a tape edge. CONSTITUTION:The tape guide post is larger than the width of a tape 2 to be used, and is formed in symmetrical to the center line having a large protruded curvature, e.g. a barrel shape convexly in such a manner that the radius in the center position (crown part) 1b in the tape transverse direction is larger than a radius of the end part 1a to an extent of 100-200 mum. Consequently, when the tape 2 having a fluctuation in the transverse direction of 100-200 mum is entered at the tape guide post, the tape 2 is apt to move toward the larger diameter. By this method, the positional fluctuation of the tape in the transverse direction on a tape path can be suppressed, and even when a thin type tape is used, the stable and secure traveling is feasible without damaging the tape edges.</p> |
