PURPOSE:To execute reduction processing with arbitrary magnification even by a general graphics controller with limit in a reduction ratio and an enlargement ratio by executing arithmetic to equally distribute the variable power areas of n/16 magnification and (n+1)/16 magnification. CONSTITUTION:In a CPU (control part) 1, a main control part 11, picture division/magnification calculation part 12 and graphics controller control part 13 are provided. Based on the set reduction ratio, the arithmetic is executed to equally distribute the variable power areas of the n/16 magnification and (n+1)/16 magnification, and by a reduction processing means, reduction processing is executed for each divided area according to the arithmetic result. Thus, by using the general graphics controller with the limit in the reduction and enlargement ratio, without depending on a software, picture edition can be executed with the arbitrary magnification. |
