PURPOSE:To make voltage drop small by forming a unit cell structure in which a first electrode thin film, a pinhole-free solid electrolyte thin film, and a second electrode thin film are stacked on a porous base plate in order. CONSTITUTION:A unit cell structure is formed by stacking a first electrode thin film 2, a pinhole-free solid electrolyte thin film 3, and a second electrode thin film 4 in order on a porous base plate 1. Since the pinhole-free solid electrolyte thin film 3 is used in the unit cell structure of a fuel cell, the ratio of oxygen partial pressure on both sides of the solid electrolyte thin film 3 does not decrease. Hydrogen is supplied from intakes formed by the porous base plates 1 of fuel cell main bodies 20a, 20b and cell cases 5, and oxygen is supplied from intakes formed by the separators 7, 8 and the second electrode thin films 4 to conduct power generation. The unit cell structure of the fuel cell in which voltage drop is small and in addition, these structures can easily be connected in series can be obtained. |
