DRY SIMULTANEOUS REMOVAL OF SULFUR OXIDE AND NITROGEN OXIDE

PURPOSE:To remove sulfur oxide and nitrogen oxide by blowing particulate calcium carbonate and particulate ammonium bromide or particulate calcium hydroxide and particulate urea into combustion exhaust gas in a mixed state or individually. CONSTITUTION:Particulate calcium carbonate and particulate ammonium bromide and/or particulate calcium hydroxide or particulate urea are blown in combustion exhaust gas in a mixed state or individually to simultaneously remove sulfur oxide and nitrogen oxide by a dry process. Concretely, when the combustion exhaust gas reaches a temp. region of about 600-900 deg.C through a heat exchanger group, a mixture prepared by mixing particulate ammonium bromide and/or particulate urea with particulate calcium carbonate is mixed and dispersed in the exhaust gas to make it possible to remove sulfur oxide and nitrogen oxide.
