<p>PURPOSE:To greatly save the operating voltage of a driving circuit which supplies a scanning signal by setting the scanning signal so as to have a 1st writing section, a 1st holding section, a 2nd writing section, a 2nd holding section and resetting sections within a horizontal retrace section. CONSTITUTION:A 1st writing voltage VW1 is impressed in the 1st writing section TW1, a 2nd writing voltage VW2 in the 2nd writing section TW2, a 1st holding voltage VH1 in the 1st holding section TH1, a 2nd holding voltage VH2 in the 2nd holding section TH2, and a resetting voltage VR in the resetting sections TR1, TR2, respectively in the case of, for example, the scanning signal phi1*. The simultaneous presence of the resetting voltage VR which is the max. voltage of the scanning signal and the 2nd writing voltage VW2 which is the min. voltage is averted by providing the resetting sections TR1, TR2 of the canning signal within the horizontal retrace section. The operating voltage of the circuit to supply the scanning signal is greatly saved in this way.</p> |
