PREPARATORY DUST COLLECTING MECHANISM IN ELECTROSTATIC PRECIPITATOR

PURPOSE:To suppress the particle size of dust particles small by arranging a cylindrical body between a dust-containing gas introducing port and an electric precipitator main body and providing a cylindrical pipe in the cylindrical body and arranging a revolving blade between the cylindrical body and the cylindrical pipe. CONSTITUTION:The large particles suspended in the gaseous substance contained in the dust-containing gas introduced into a cylindrical body 20 from the introducing port 10 of an electric precipitator 1 collide with the inner wall surface of the cylindrical body 22 by the cylindrical pipe 21 arranged at the center position of the cylindrical body 22 to fall while they are revolved by the revolution of a revolving blade 22. Said particles are guided to a cyclone 24 along with a part of gaseous substance by the communication pipe 23 arranged at the midway position on the open side of the electrostatic precipitator main body part 11 of the cylindrical body 20 and only dust particles having a small particle size are supplied to the precipitator main body part 11 from the open part on the side of the main body part 11. By this method, dust collecting efficiency can be improved.
