PURPOSE:To reduce the dyeing cost for a few cloth by providing a conductive layer and a heat-resistant dielectric layer in order, developing an electrostatic latent image with subliming toner, and then bringing the image into contact with another base material and heating them. CONSTITUTION:Heat-resistant dielectric layer resin is used so as to prevent the supporting body of an electrostatic recording body from softening, deforming, or sticking on a heating machine when heated. Then toner which incorporates subliming dye is used as color toner and an electrostatic recording body where the toner sticks and the base material made of cloth, nonwoven fabric, a synthetic resin film, synthetic-resin coated paper, etc., are brought into contact with each other and heated above sublimation temperature (150-200 deg.C) from the reverse side of the electrostatic recording body or the side of the substrate to dye the base material with the subliming dye. Consequently, dyeing of large size exceeding A-3 size becomes possible at low cost. |
