PURPOSE:To reduce the size of a switchboard box and prevent the breakage of the box and circuit breakers by arranging a multiple-phase circuit breaking section in the direction of the depth of the box, and narrowing the contact gaps between power supply-side and load-side conductors and contact shoes successively in proportion to the depth from an inserting opening of the box. CONSTITUTION:The length sizes of side sections 14A-14C extending from the left side and right side of a circuit breaking section 9 respectively become larger successively in proportion to the depth from an inserting opening 1A of a box 1. Power supply side and load side contact shoes 11A-11C(12A-12C) extend upwards and downwards from the tips of respective side sections 14, and touch power supply side and load side conductors 16, 17. Each contact shoe 11A-11C(12A-12C) is made so as to have size of keeping farther away from the circuit breaking section 9 successively in proportion to the depth from the inserting opening. And, sizes H1, H2, H3 of the gaps between the power supply-side conductors 16A-16C and the load side conductors 17A-17C are made to be smaller successively, in proportion to the depth from the inserting opening. |
