When start impossibility is judged, then, a necessary calorific value of heating means 23, 24 for accelerating evaporation of the fuel to enable the start is calculated by a necessary calorific value calculating means 56 on the basis of the alcohol concentration and engine temperature. Then, the necessary calorific value of the heating means 23, 24 is compared with a determined standard value by a starting control means 57, and when this necessary calorific Value is larger than the standard value, the heating means 23, 24 are energized for a determined time, and then a starter motor is driven. |
