PURPOSE:To prevent interference from occurring in travel of a vehicle even if both valves malfunction, by providing a clutch control valve and a lock-up clutch rapidly releasing valve to be set to a first release mode by a first oil path or to a second release mode in a fourth oil path. CONSTITUTION:A lock-up clutch control valve 320 and a lock-up clutch rapidly releasing valve 400 are set to either a first release mode by a first oil path or a second release mode by a fourth oil path wherein even if a mechanical failure of the clutch control valve 320 or the clutch rapidly releasing valve 400 actually causes hydraulic clutch engagement or hydraulic clutch rapidly release when a hydraulic clutch is to be released, the hydraulic clutch can be securely released by switching over from one mode to the other between the first release mode and the second release mode. Thus a failure in operating oil due to unintentional hydraulic clutch engagement which may cause overheating or blow-out of the operating oil can be prevented.
