PURPOSE:To reduce a load on a system control processor and to improve the performance of an information processing system as a whole by controlling connection between an arithmetic processor and a system controller by always comparing a system configuration information table under the control of the system control processor with the system configuration information under the control of a diagnostic processor after completing the restart of the diagnostic processor. CONSTITUTION:When the automatic restart of the diagnostic processor 6 is performed, coincidence between the system configuration information table 11 controlled by its own and the system configuration information table 10 controlled by the system control processor 10 is taken, and the validity/invalidity of the connection of the arithmetic processors 4, 5 with the system controller 1 is controlled. Therefore, it is possible to perform configuration control by the system control processor 1 without performing a complicated processing procedure to issue an instruction to change configuration to the diagnostic processor 6 awaiting the completion of the restart of the diagnostic processor 6 when it is being restarted. In such a way, the load on the system control processor 1 can be reduced, and the performance of the system can be improved as a whole. |
