PURPOSE:To obtain capacity more excellent than that of activated carbon in deodorizing capacity and life by forming a deodorizing filter by laminating a deodorizing fiber having deodorizing function due to oxidative catalytic reaction and a water supply medium always holding moisture. CONSTITUTION:When a blower 2 is operated, an air stream 3 is formed in a box body 1 and a malodor 9 is sucked from a suction port 1a to pass through deodorizing fibers 4 and deodorized to discharge deodorized air 10 from a diffuser 1b. At this time, since a water supply medium 5 sucks up the water 7 in a water tank 6 by a capillary phenomenon, moisture is interposed between the deodorizing fibers 4. Herein, the movement of moisture particles A due to the mutual contact of the water supply medium 5 and the deodorizing fibers 4 and the transfer of high humidity air B due to the supply of the air stream 3 are performed to supply moisture to the deodorizing fibers 4. The deodorizing fibers 4 are activated by the interposition of moisture to develop oxidative catalytic reaction and the deodorizing capacity thereof is increased. |
