PURPOSE:To shorten a period of time until it arrives at a target speed by providing a motor speed error detector, a state detector for determining whether the amplitude of a period error signal falls within a range of a reference value or not to operate a differentiator, and a circuit for driving a motor in response to the output of an adder. CONSTITUTION:The rotating period of a motor 1 is converted to a signal proportional to the period by a rotation detector 2, and an error from a specified period is detected by a speed error detector 3. Whether the error signal falls within a predetermined range or not is monitored by a state detector 4 to drive an integrator 6 only if the response of the motor 1 is judged to be a normal state, and the error signal and the output of the integrator 6 are added by an adder 7. A driver 8 receives the output of the adder 7 to drive the motor 1. Thus, a period of time until it arrives at a target speed can be shortened. |
