PURPOSE: To sufficiently and completely clean an inlet and an area quite close to it by engaging a half-lid body at a closing position in order to rotate the half-lid body downward toward the inlet and drive the half-lid body integrally and thereby close an inlet of a contaminant storing tank. CONSTITUTION: A device for closing a storing tank comprises one pair of half-lid bodies 3, 4 having inner flange parts to be contacted and the half-lid bodies are opened from one end and rotated. The half-lid bodies can be movable in a diverted state at one end on two parallel axes provided by means of pins 5, 6 projected approximately vertically from a flat plate 7 respectively. On the flat plate 7, two horizontal terminal side supporting parts 7a, 7b to be engaged with corresponding holes arranged on two supporting parts 8a, 8b, which are in turn mounted on a main body part at one end of a storing tank 1 by a screw 9. The flat plate 7 makes downward rotation of the half-lid bodies at a position close to a storing tank easy. Thereby, complete washing of the storing tank and the area close to it can be possible at this position of the half-lid bodies. |
