PURPOSE:To reliably monitor the abnormal state of a load current by providing a driving control means which compares variation data which is set by a setting means with a load current value which is detected by a load current detecting means and controls the driving of a reset mechanism. CONSTITUTION:The device is provided with the load current detecting means 801 which detects the load current value by respective driving means which drive in accordance with a copying sequence, the setting means 60a which predicts and sets the variation data of the load current by the respective driving means which drive in accordance with the copying sequence by subjecting to a set copying mode, and the driving control means 60 which compares the variation data set by the setting means 60a with the load current value detected by the load current detecting means 801 and controls the driving of the reset mechanism. While a power-supply current value and a predicted current data at the time of executing the copying sequence previously set are successively compared, the power-supply current value is monitored. Thus, the power-supply current is surely shut off while accurately deciding the abnormality of the power-supply current value. |
