PURPOSE:To exhaust expanded air outside to keep inner pressure constant as well as reduce exhaustion of lubricant oil from a communicating pipe by a method wherein an external communicating pipe is provided on a part for covering a rotation axis of a case while protruding line ribs are provided on the inner wall of this case. CONSTITUTION:A pinion case 10 is fixed to a transfer case 100 at a portion where an output axis 112 is to be positioned while through holes 126 and 18 are provided on the top of both cases respectively, and a hollow external communicating pipe 20 is inserted. Thus if inner pressure rises due to rise in temprature, etc., expanded air is exhausted from the communicating pipe 20 to maintain the inner pressure constant. In addition, a pair of protruding line ribs 28 are provided tilting along the axis in the vicinity of the axis center on an inner wall of the pinion case 10. Therefore splash of lubricant oil rotating together with rotation of the output axis 112 is shut by the ribs 28 so that it may not be exhausted form the communicating pipe 20.
