PURPOSE:To obtain precise and good markings and facilitate visual discrimination to the same extent as printed and transferred marks of paint by forming a printed or coated paint layer on the molded part surface to be subjected to laser marking process. CONSTITUTION:For example, after a capacitor element is mounted on a lead frame, transfer molding is carried out by using a black epoxy based molding material to effect mold facing, and then, resin burs are removed, the surface is dried, silver-colored printing ink is printed on the marking surface of a molded part, and heat curing is carried out at 150 deg.C for one hour for hardening to form a paint layer. Markings, for example, such as 'A115', '9S', '+', etc., are provided on the surface of the paint layer by a layer by a carbon dioxide gas laser marker. Therefore, the laser marking parts (markings) give the color of the molded parts, and the color of the paint layer is left on the other surface part. Namely, the color of these markings are different from that of the surrounding parts thereof as same as the printed and transferred marks of paint, so that visual discrimination thereof is also facilitated to the same extent as these marks. |
