PURPOSE:To apply an IC card having large storage capacity, to improve safety and to attain a multipurpose method by compositing a gate controller of a reader writer, an operating section, a display section, an input/output circuit, a control circuit, a storage circuit, etc. CONSTITUTION:A gate control system is constituted of a gate controller 1 consisting of an IC card reader writer 11, an operating section 12, a display section 13, a transmission control circuit 14, an input/output circuit 15, a control circuit 15, a storage circuit 17 and a clocking device 18, an IC card 2, a processor 3, an electric lock 4 and a door 5. Various information is stored in the IC and 2 having large storage capacity, and the information is read by the reader/writer 11 and compared with information previously stored in the storage circuit 17 before entrance to a room. When conditions coincide at that time, a release command is transmitted over the electric lock 4, and displayed to the display section 13, and the entrance and leaving time and other information are sent to the processor 3. |
