PURPOSE:To obtain a cleaning tape capable of removing sticking matters efficiently without flawing the surface of a printing head by a method wherein abrasive grains with a grain diameter of 5 to 100 mum and a Mohs'hardness of 1 to 3 are fixed on the surface of a base film through a binder made of a curable resin. CONSTITUTION:In the case of a dry-type cleaning tape, in consideration of a heat to be applied, a base film 21 is made of a film having a superior heat resistance, and as a binder 22 a curable resin having a superior heat resistance, such as epoxy resin and urethane resin, is also used. As abrasive grains 23, a powder with a Mohs'hardness of 1-3 refined to have a grain diameter of 5-100 mum is used: an inorganic powder, such as diatom earth and kaolin, and an organic powder, such as urea resin and melamine resin, are used alone or as a mixture of two or more kinds of them. These are stirred, mixed, and filtered through a 100 mum pass filter to produce a coating liquid. The coating liquid is applied to the base film 21 and dried. As a result, a cleaning tape which is suitable for a printing head and capable of removing sticking matters efficiently without flawing the surface of the printing head can be obtained. |
