PURPOSE:To obtain a toner having superior coloring property and electrostatic chargeability by mixing a resin soluble in a radical-polymerizable monomer with an additive for rendering characteristics of a toner and a specified solvent, adding an azo compd. type colmn. initiator and the radical-polymerizable monomer to the mixture, mixing and suspension-polymerizing them. CONSTITUTION:When a resin soluble in a radical-polymerizable monomer is kneaded with an additive for rendering characteristics of a toner, a solvent plasticizing the resin and wetting the additive is added. By adding the solvent, larger shearing force is applied by kneading and the additive is finely divided in the resin in a short time. Since the additive is uniformly and efficiently dispersed in the radical-polymerizable monomer only by dissolving the resin contg. the finely divided additive in the monomer, a toner having superior coloring property and electrostatic chargeability is obtd. |
