PURPOSE:To product an org. cured product having an excellent fatigue resistance and resilience with a high tear strength while maintaining a predetermined modulus by compounding a compsn. comprising an organopolysiloxane, silica, and a nonionic surfactant with a curing agent and curing the resulting compsn. CONSTITUTION:A compsn. comprising 100 pts.wt. organopolysiloxane of formula I [wherein R<1> is a (substd.) monovalent hydrocarbon group; 0.01-0.5mol% of R<1> groups is alkenyl; and 1.95<=a<=2.05], 10-100 pts.wt. silica with a specific surface area of 50m<2>/g, and 0.01-3 pts.wt. nonionic surfactant is compounded with a curing agent, and then cured to give a cured product. As the curing agent, a combination of an organohydrogenpolysiloxane of formula II [wherein R<2> is a (substd.) monovalent hydrocarbon group; and 0<=b<=3, 0.005<=c<=1.0, and 0.8<=b+c<=3] with a metal catalyst of the platinum group, and an org. peroxide are usable. |
