PURPOSE: To easily fit a closure to a container and minimize dishonest manipulations by constituting the free end of a second part of a flange so that the free end is fitted to the under part of the bead on the container when the closure is screwed in the container. CONSTITUTION: When a closure 32 is set on a container 30, a continuous flange part 42 is fitted to an annular bead 37 of the container 30 at first to bend the flange 40 outward. During setting the closure, a first continuous part is bent outward in the radial direction and the free end of a segment part 43 comes into contact with the inside face of a band 35. When the closure is further screwed in onto the container, the segment part 43 is bent inward in the radial direction beneath the bead 37 of the container 30. When the closure is set, the first continuous flange part 42 is substantially vertical and the free edge of segment part 43 comes into contact with the neck of the bottle, at the underside of the beat 37. In this way, the closure can be easily set in the container and dishonest manipulations are minimized. |
