The invention relates to a hand tool for fitting a sealing strip 14 in door and aperture openings of motor vehicles. According to the invention, the tool comprises a tool handle 1 on which a drive wheel 4 and a pressure wheel 10 are rotatably disposed, between which wheels the strip 14 is placed when being fitted. The drive wheel 4 is connected to a power source connected to the tool handle 1, according to a preferred embodiment a compressed-air source, which, when activated, causes the drive wheel 4 to rotate such that the tool is displaced along the strip 14, whereupon the pressure force which acts against the strip 14 causes this to be squeezed together over the body flange 15. The pressure wheel 10 further bears resiliently against the strip 14 with the aid of a pressure spring 12, the spring force of which is adjustable by means of an adjusting screw 13. <IMAGE> |
