发明名称 DRYING METHOD FOR OXIDATIVE POLYMERIZATION TYPE INK AND PRODUCTION OF PRINT INFORMATION RECORDING MEDIUM
摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To dry an ink rapidly and produce a print information recording medium efficiently, by printing at least one kind of information selected from the group consisting of characters, figures and symbols on a surface of a substrate by use of an oxidative polymerization type ink, and blowing ozone against the printed surface. CONSTITUTION:A stripe pattern is printed in an oxidative polymerization type ink. A printed matter 1, immediately upon printing, is placed on a belt conveyer 2 of a dryer. An ozone generator 3, based on corona discharge, is brought into discharge by a high-frequency power supply 4 for corona discharge. Ozone thus generated is carried through a duct, to be blown against the printed matter. A fan 6 is disposed at an intermediate position in the duct, in order to enhance the blowing efficiency. With ozone thus used, the reaction rate of oxidative polymerization can be enhanced remarkably, so that even on a film, a metallic substrate or other similar substrate, the ink can be rapidly dried completely and be fixed securely to the substrate.</p>
