PURPOSE:To stabilize a quality among products by setting a degree of a progress in vulcanization, by a method wherein progressing circumstances in vulcanization is detected through a change in vibration strength transmitted through the material, and the suspending timing of a vbration is decided. CONSTITUTION:An ultrasonic vibration of at least 15kHz is applied to rubber ground 2 through a bolster horn 6 and horn 3 from an oscillator 5 by actuating an ultrasonic generator 10. The rubber ground 2 is pressed against the horn 3 with a press mechanism 4 and becomes apt to receive an oscillation. An ultrasonic wave transmitted within the rubber ground 2 converts vibrational energy into heat with viscoelasticity of the ground 2, the ground 2 is heat- vulcanized, the ultrasonic wave not converted into the heat is transmitted through the ground 2 and collected with a sound sensor 7. A degree of progress of vulcanization is decided by comparing strength of a sound transmitting away through the ground 2 with a relation of the strength of the transmitting sound with progressing circumstances in vulcaniation and at the time when appropriate degree of a progress in the vulcanization is attained, generation of the ultrasonic wave is stopped. |
