发明名称 PRODUCTION OF THERMAL RECORDING MATERIAL
摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a thermal recording material holding a high sensitivity and a high image quality and having a glossiness by a method wherein a coating liquid layer applied on an intermediate layer of a heat-sensitive substrate is irradiated with an electron beam while being depressed by a smoothly molded surface of a molded substrate to be polimerized and cured to form a resin coated layer. CONSTITUTION:As a base material having a sheet form, a plastic film, synthetic paper, or the like can be used in addition to wood free paper, medium paper, art paper, or other paper. An electron beam-cured coating liquid used for forming a resin coated layer is made of a compound which can be polymerized and cured by being irradiated with an electron beam. As the compound, an acrylic or methacrylic oligomer containing two or more carbon - carbon double bonds in one molecule and a multifunctional acrylic or methacrylic monomer are exemplified. The coating liquid is applied on the surface of an intermediate layer of a heat-sensitive substrate and depressed by a smoothly molded surface of a molded substrate. When the molded substrate has electron beam transmitting properties, the coating liquid layer is irradiated with an electron beam transmitted from the rear of the molded substrate.
