PURPOSE:To operate a distant equipment or an equipment which is positioned in a dead zone due to an obstacle or directivity, etc., as well by providing an infrared repeater to receive and repeat infrared ray, including an operating signal emitted from an infrared transmitter, and to emit the infrared rays to the objective equipment to be operated. CONSTITUTION:The infrared transmitter 1 emits the infrared rays LV, including the information of the operating signals to the objective equipment to be operated, toward the infrared repeater 2. In the infrared repeater 2, the infrared rays LV from the infrared transmitter 1 are received by a reception part 3, converted into an electric signal and amplified. Through a control part 5, carrier frequency information from a carrier frequency detection part 41 and envelope data from an envelope detection part 42 are once stored in a RAM 6. According to the output signal of a synthesizing selection part 9, the infrared rays including the information of the operating signals are emitted to the prescribed objective equipment to be operated. The infrared rays are emitted form a transmission part 10 in ternary direction and an infrared emission part 101A operates the objective equipment of operation in a front direction and parts 101B and 101C operate the objective equipments to be operated in the dead zone. |
